Mable’s cottage is one of the few historic homes left that still have all the character of the original homes built in Cherokee Sound over 130 years ago. The home still has most of the Abaco Pine that it originally did when constructed. For those of you that don’t know, the old Abaco Pine is one of the densest woods that lasts for many lifetimes. This absolutely adorable cottage has two bedrooms, one bath, dine in Kitchen along with a walk-in closet and hardwood floors. A/C throughout the cottage with a new metal roof over the kitchen and front porch. New windows and exterior doors. All windows have folding wooden shutters that make closing up a breeze. The grocery store is just down the street that now serves food along with several churches, a gas station and the world famous long dock located on one of the prettiest settings in the Islands. If you are a fly, deep sea, or spearfishing enthusiast everything is extremely close at hand.
