Golfing great Tiger Woods already has a huge stake in the Bahamas, as the co-owner of the luxury Albany development at New Providence. Now he has increased his connection with the Bahamas by co-developing the new Jack’s Bay private club and community in Rock Sound, Eleuthera.
So it is only fitting that Tiger Woods was chosen to open The Playground, a spectacular 10-hole, par-three golf course at Jack’s Bay, which has been created by his TGR Design.
The Playground, which sits on top of a cliff and overlooks pink-sand beaches and the Atlantic Ocean is the first of the Jack’s Bay major recreation facilities to open.
The holes range from 55 yards to 170 yards and provide interest and enjoyment for all golfers. When refreshment is required, a signature Blue Bar is by the Number Four green at The Playground. It offers assorted candies, soft drinks, and small dishes such as sliders and Bahamas favourites.

Jack’s Bay is a spectacular 964-acre development with 2.5 miles of Atlantic Ocean frontage. It is 10-minutes from Rock Sound International Airport.
The community will feature more than 500 luxury residences including golf and club villas, club suites, and spacious estate lots. Pre-sales have been launched with the “Founder 40 Program” which is available to the first 40 buyers of select real estate. At the moment, the golf course, clubhouse, restaurant and the beach club are all open to members..
Among amenities planned are a Club Lodge with a swimming pool, bar and restaurant, The Pink House beach club, and a Salt Spray full-service bar, restaurant and golf shop. There are also hidden gems including turtle deck, blue holes, caves, and Mystery Lake.
The private club will offer relaxing experiences such as yoga on the beach, jogging, or walking along the nature trails. More challenging pursuits may include paddle boarding, sea kayaking, snorkeling, and SCUBA diving, fly fishing, deep-sea fishing, ATV riding, or hiking.
